Details

Purpose

Support Groups were created by adoptive parents specifically for adoptive parents. These groups provide a supportive environment where parents can seek solace, empowerment, and connections. The significance lies in parents realizing they are not alone in navigating the struggles and triumphs of adoption.

Schedule

Wednesday Evening Support Groups are every fourth Wednesday of the month at Youth and Family Programs. These support groups are two hours long from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with childcare provided upon registration. Childcare is supported by our staff and volunteers with food and beverages provided.

Registration

Attendees can register on our website by clicking on "RSVP" for the selected event above. We aim at trying to make registration as convenient as possible. If childcare is needed, please make sure to put children under "additional guests" so our staff is aware. We look forward to being a support to you and your family.
